Has anyone else become enamored with the idea of hosting a fabulous infused dinner party for their friends?

Its been a long lockdown for us all but looks like fun may be in our futures once more!  Here at Hollywood-Farmz we made all of our infused edibles in house by myself and Hollywood.  This includes our infused Chocolate chip cookies, Nerd Gummies and chocolate Bar.  However as boredom set in i began to wonder if i could use THCA in more day to day meals.  Why not spice up Wednesday nights chicken with a little dab o distillate?  But we know its not as easy as dropping it in some stirring and hoping for the best!  So i decided to take on a new challenge to try my hand in Cooking.  I already love cooking and hosting parties so why not kick it up a notch?!

There is one lady's career i avidly follow as she is the Goddess of infused Cooking here in Michigan and rapidly having her named dropped everywhere!  Ginalisa (Gigi) Diaz and her mother run Infused Concepts that create amazing Mexican/Latin infused cuisine.  Before co vid struck, Hollywood surprised me on my birthday with tickets to her Dabs and Desserts event in Detroit.  It was an abundance of beautifully prepared and staged finger foods that were to die for.  After that i was hooked and started to follow all of her cooking adventures.  She definitely is my inspiration!

So join me on my journey down the road.  Ill be playing around with some recipes and sharing my successes and failures with you all.  So where to start?  like i said in the beginning i think it would be fun to play with some every day recipes and see how we can enhance the experience using different strains of flower, distalite, keif, oils and so much more!  With spring around the corner the farmers markets will be hopefully be open again.  But just in case their not, ill be starting some seedlings in the greenhouse again this year.  Learned so much from last year that i hope we can double what we grew last year.  Did you know using old tires are great for building potato mounds?  I didnt either!  This year i may try using some old plastic barrels we no longer use in our grow operation.   Having the ability to go out to the garden for fresh herbs to use is such a joy,  I cannot wait to try my hand with the "special herbs" cannabis!

So check back here soon to see what I've cooked up and if it was a flop or fabulous!  I'm gonna whip out some old cookbooks and see how i can incorporate all of the wonderful things into fresh new ideas.  Heck maybe by the time fall gets here ill be ready to do a 6 course fancy cannabis infused dinner that will literally have people drooling at (or on!) the table.  See you soon!
